Components of the Program
The following services are available to pregnant women supported by Mary's Shelter. We offer these services in whatever way will benefit women most - via outreach or while they reside at Mary’s Shelter.
Temporary housing
Individual and group counseling
Assistance with coordination of:
Prenatal care
Formal education
Future housing
Budget counseling
On-site classes to help develop:
Parenting skills
Interpersonal relationship skills
Housekeeping skills
Outcomes
.Our goal is give every woman to experience a healthy pregnancy while having access to the following resources:
Successful enrollment in and/or completion of high school, current grade level, or GED program
Active participation and completion of in-house courses on prenatal care, parenting and life skills training
Referrals to appropriate transitional or permanent housing agencies
